Walls

The walls are inspired by the old Dutch Tiles “Witjes” from the 17th century. Back in the days, these seemingly ordinary tiles had beautiful degradations in colours of white - some with more more pink, grey or yellow tones. I recreated these tonalities in my own tiles, and made a modular plug and play system that allows you to swap and change artworks within the tile structure. It results in a shiny tiled wall, with beautiful gradations of whites, that people are able to personalise with my work.
